23 Psychological Life Hacks You Need To Know. #13 Is Just Evil

You can improve the outcome of any social situation. Just use some of these awesome life tips collected from Reddit.

#1. When you first meet people, try to notice their eye color while also smiling at them. It might be because you look for a second or two longer, but all I can tell you is that people really respond to it.

#2. Pay attention to people’s feet. If you approach two people in the middle of a conversation and they only turn their torsos and not their feet, they don’t want you to join in the conversation. Similarly, if you are in a conversation with a coworker who you think is paying attention to you and their torso is turned towards you but their feet are facing in another direction, they want the conversation to end.

#3. Foot-in-the-door phenomenon. People are more likely to agree to do a task for you if you ask them to do something simpler first. (Gradual commitment makes people think you like them.)

#4. Alternatively, you ask them to do an unreasonable task and they’ll say no. So then you should ask for a more reasonable task and they will be more likely to agree.

#5. If you ask someone to do you a small favor, cognitive dissonance will make them believe that because they did that favor, they must like you. (Ben Franklin)

#6. If you ask someone a question and they only partially answer just wait. If you stay silent and keep eye contact they will usually continue talking.

#7. Chew gum when you’re approaching a situation that would make you nervous. I can’t remember where I heard it, but apparently if we are ‘eating’ something in our brains trip and it reasons ‘I would not be eating if I were in danger. So I’m not in danger.’ This has helped to calm me a few times.

#8. Avoid the sidewalk shuffle by looking intently over the person’s shoulder or between people’s heads in a group. Your gaze shows them where you’re going. They’ll drift toward the opposing side and create a gap to avoid you.

#9. When you’re studying/learning something new, teach a friend how to do it. Let them ask questions. If you’re able to teach something well, you understand it.

#10. People will remember not what you said, but how you made them feel.

#11. Alter your psychological state before an interview or important meeting. Tell yourself “I’ve known these people all my life. We’re old friends catching up. I can’t wait to see them.” Visualize the experience of shaking hands, making eye contact, and having smooth conversation. What things can you not to wait to tell them? Hold an open pose, stand with your legs apart, hands on your hips, and shoulders back while doing this and SMILE. This may sound cliche, but you are in charge of your own psychological state and the power of suggestion is strong.

#12. If you get yourself to be really happy and excited to see other people, they will react the same to you. It doesn’t always happen the first time, but it will definitely happen next time.

#13.  My personal favorite is when people are angry at me; if I stay calm it’ll get them even angrier, and be ashamed about it after.

#14. If you have a warm hand when you shake somebody’s hand, you immediately become a more desirable person to get along with.

#15. People have a certain image of themselves and will fight tooth and nail to cling to it. Use this information wisely. You can make people dislike you by attacking their self-image.

#16. False attribution of arousal. When you take somebody out on a first date, take them somewhere exciting that will get their heart beating such as a roller coaster or horror film. This gets their adrenaline up. It makes them think they enjoy spending time with you rather than the activity.

#17. The key to confidence is walking into a room and assume that everyone already likes you.

#18. The physical effects of stress (increased breathing rate, heart rate etc.) mirror identically the physical effects of courage. So when you’re feeling stress from any situation immediately reframe it: your body is getting ready to something courageous, it’s not feeling stress. A great example of cognitive reframing, researchers found that you will do better when you appraise a stressful situation as a challenge and not a threat

#19. Refer to people you’ve just met by their name. People loving being referred to by their name and it will establish a sense of trust and friendship right away.

#20. If you make the biggest smile you can, you will automatically feel happier

#21. The moment your alarm wakes you up, immediately react by sitting up, pump your fists and shout “YEAH!”

#22. Always give your kid a choice that makes them think they are in control. For instance, when I want him to put his shoes on I will say,”Do you want to put on your Star Wars shoes or your shark shoes?”

#23. People are extraordinarily aware of their sense of touch. If someone ‘accidentally’ rests their knee on yours, they may not act like they realize it, but they definitely know that it’s there.

You can practice #20 right now. It works, it really does. If you found these tips helpful, share them with others.

20 Brilliant Tool Storage Solutions

Properly organizing and storing our tools is something most of us strive for but it’s an ongoing process. And some of us [raises hand] are often far less organized than we’d like to be. Seeing other people’s storage solutions, especially when they are ingenious ones, can help stimulate a little of one’s own re-org inspirations. With that in mind, we present a gallery of twenty solutions we hope will inspire some clever organizational ideas in you.

Suspended Jar Organizers

Let’s face it, there are few parts organizing schemes more universal than the jar lids screwed into a board rack or under a cabinet. Hey, it works! And it works for all kinds and sizes of containers, from baby food jars to CD/DVD tubs and beyond. And, tin cans nailed from the side into a board are another perennial organizing scheme that would make your grandpa proud.

Plastic Jug Organizers

After the jar and can organizers come the milk jugs. More so than just about anything else, uniformity in a storage solution is extremely important. Having all of the containers be the same size and shape allows you the greatest storage efficiency. Using the plastic milk jugs, kitty litter containers, and other plastic product containers is smart because you generate a lot of them and they are all of the same size. And they’re free and you’re recycling!

These are kitty litter (above) and chocolate milk containers. I love the idea of taping a screw to the container to ID what’s inside.

Toilet Tube Cable Organizers

And why overlook the lowly toilet paper and paper towel tubes? They are perfect for sleeving and organizing cables.

PVC Rake Rack

Once you get beyond the above “trashy” organizing solutions, PVC is a universal material for making holders of all sorts. Here, short pieces of PVC are fastened to two boards to create a rack for rakes, shovels, and other long-handled tools.

PVC Drill Holders

Make a Tool-Zine

To save space, consider making this type of pegboard tool “magazine.”

Overhead Tubular Storage

You’ve gotta love this idea of using a “sonotube” and some metal strapping to create overhead bins for storing light wood, piping, and other long stock. I think you’d want to be careful about the weight on this one.

Overhead Ceiling Bins

Using common materials like 2x4s and plywood, you can create these I-beam rails for overhead plastic storage bins.

Magnetic Tool Hangers

In this Make: Project, Jason Smith shows you how to create simple mounts for hanging tools underneath cabinets with…. MAGNETISM.

Sliding Bolt Latch Holders

This is something I would never think of, a very clever solution to wheelbarrow stowage, using sliding bolt latches like the kind used on gates. There are probably numerous other applications for this idea.

Pie Plate Blade Holders

From Family Handyman comes this idea of using metal or paper pie plates to store circular saw blades on a wall.

Roll Out Storage Case

Portable Workbench

Building a workbench and tool racks in a multi-use space.

Pallet Bike Rack

Two pallets and a little cutting with a saw and voilà.

Parts in a Binder

Keeping small parts and electronic components in binders is something worth considering.

Oak Boot Rack

A rack for your Wellies.

Bungie Cord Netting

I never would have thought to use bungie cords as netting like this.

Insulation Board Tool Stab

A piece of Styrofoam or blueboard on the wall and you have yourself a convenient place to stab tools and components into.

Binder Clip Blade Holders

Here’s a super simple and clever way to hang your bandsaw blades.

Pegboard Tool Stowage

You can create little shelves for storing certain tools on a pegboard by bending straight pegboard hooks to create corners.

The Reason Why Two Choices Come Up When Answering A Call On An iPhone

Stop everything, because this is massively important. Are you ready?

Are you sure you’re ready? Take a minute and prepare to have your jaw drop directly to the floor and your tits blown clean off.

We’re talking about that thing you carry everywhere and cannot stand to lose: your iphone. It’s already getting intense up here hurr.

Sometimes You Get This When Bae Calls

Did you ever notice this about your iPhone? Sometimes you have to slide to use your phone when someone’s calling.

Sometimes You Get THIS When Bae Calls

Then there are the times when you’re getting right to the action; red or green? Depends on whether or not you can hear the trickle n’ flush.

Take A Minute, Compose Yourself

This is some pretty mind-blowing stuff. We understand it may take a minute to accept the fact that you never friggin’ noticed this and boy, is it ever true. It’s okay, breathe.

What’s That You Want To Know?

Why-oh-why-oh-why? This is always a good question. Never fear, embrace it and go forth, ask it.

Here’s The Scoop

A locked phone and an unlocked phone will display calls differently (because they’re, like, different). If your phone is locked when someone calls, you get the swipe. If they’re calling you after you’ve unlocked your phone, the “decline” and “accept” buttons will appear. You can pick your jaw up off the floor now.

Now You’re Richer Than All Your Friends, Just Like Mama Said

Can you think of a better way to wheel? “Hey, call me, I’ll show you something cool” — and they lived happily ever after.

5 Secrets to Make Your Hands 10 Years Younger

Hands usually give away your age because they age more quickly than your face. However, you can avoid this if you take proper care of them.

Creative Idea 365 gathered a few pieces of advice and rules to keep your hands pretty for longer.

Wash your hands correctly

Frequent contact with soap can make your hands lose moisture and start flaking. Follow these simple rules to avoid it:

  • Don’t use antibacterial soap unless absolutely necessary. Avoid perfumes: they dry your skin and may cause irritation. Opt for moisturizing soap with jojoba oil, olive oil, or aloe vera.
  • Wash your hands with warm but not hot water to preserve the natural protective layer.
  • Avoid electric dryers in favor of paper towels.

Wear gloves

Your hands are constantly under stress due to external factors such as cold, chemicals, and dry air. To minimize the damage, you should have gloves for all occasions:

  • Leather or fur gloves or mittens for cold weather.
  • Rubber or latex ones for household chores (washing dishes, mopping floors, cleaning the bathtub, etc).
  • Cloth gloves for gardening.

Moisten your hands regularly

A good hand cream is as crucial as soap or shampoo, so choose and use it wisely.

  • Apply the cream as needed but no less than twice a day (morning and evening). If you have dry skin, put a tube of cream near the sink and apply it every time after washing your hands. For best effect, apply the cream, put on cotton gloves, and go to bed like that.
  • Your nails need moisturizing too. Rub some hand cream into them, and purchase a vitamin E cream for the cuticles.
  • Your skin needs moisture from the inside as well as outside, so drink enough water.
  • Buy a humidifier, and turn it on when the air’s dry.

Remember to scrub

Apart from cream, your hands need scrubbing and masks once a week.

  • Hand masks are made of products you often have in your fridge. For instance, mix half an avocado, an egg yolk, and a tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply it to your hands, and let rest for 20 minutes. Find other mask recipes here.
  • You can use a mix of olive oil and sugar as a scrub, or look up other options here.
  • Advice for the lazy: when you use a body scrub or a face mask, simply apply them to your hands as well.

Use sunscreen

One of the main signs of age is hand skin hyperpigmentation. The reason is not in aging or liver dysfunction, as you may have heard, but the effect of the sun. Age just triggers its accumulative property.

  • To avoid abundant pigment spots, regularly apply sunscreen to your hands.
  • Citrus fruits are a good natural “whitener.” For example, you can regularly make masks out of 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp milk, and 1 tsp honey. For other natural recipes for whitening your hand skin, see here.

Hi-RES By Rómulo Celdrán

Hi-RES is the title of a new series of works in sculpture and painting that explore visible reality through the analytical lens of 3D computer modeling. Hi-RES delves into relationships between the art object that takes visible reality as its point of reference, and the boundaries of verisimilitude between observable reality, art and science.

Surely it can be said that since the invention of photography, and more specifically since that historic moment when visual artists discovered photography as a reference for looking at reality in a manner that is, shall we say, indirect or alternative, everything changed in the use they began to give to that referential reality. As my friend, the artist Pipo Hernández Rivero remarks, from that point on artists began to paint not reality, but an intermediary. Of course, this intermediary was none other than photography.

This interesting observation largely gave birth to HI-RES. Considering it closely, it’s true that since that historic moment – and increasingly to the present time – we, artists who seemingly use visible reality as a reference in visual creation have long ago mostly stopped using that reality and instead look at what photography tells us about that reality; to the extent that just a very small percentage of contemporary artists continue to paint reality in the strictest sense, and “paint from nature” as this was called at one time.

Having reached this point, and with more than a century and a half in the existence of photography, the question could be, what is the technological successor to photography? Or at least, what is the successor in terms of the generation of imagery based on the still capture of reality by technical or technological means? (In a sense, we can say that this is what photography did or does). Therefore, what may be the generative successor to that intermediary? HI-RES proposes that 3D scanning and 3D models in general constitute the new intermediary to look at.

Just as photography did with the two-dimensional still image and film did with the moving image, the current digital technologies that are used to generate 3D image models are revolutionising the way we look at reality, understand it and relate to it. Whether it is the world of 3D scanning, photogrammetry, 3D design or any of their multiple forms and applications (technical, medico-scientific, recreational…) the 3D digital model shows us a reality beyond reality, a hyper-real reality.

HI-RES is organized into three main groups of paintings and sculptures: Solid, Voxel and Mesh. They all correspond to different modes of visualization of 3D models in the use of the programs that manage them. These modes go from the more or less accurate visual register of what we identify as the “real” appearance of the object, as in Solid, to the virtual interpretations that are furthest from this appearance and enter into the terrain of image processing and construction through voxels (cubic pixels) as in Voxel, or polygons as in Mesh.

Through their specific aesthetics, they all reveal a particular manner of capturing and processing visible reality subjected to the scrutiny of the scanner. And so, it is for Mesh and Voxel where this capture and processing clearly reveal the internal “thinking” logic of computer processes developed to generate these 3D models and their existence in a virtual environment, governed by the laws of analysis and processing of this fascinating technology.

With HI-RES I would like to show my complete fascination with the 3D virtual world, its capacity for analysis and plasticity, and I intend to use it as a valid reference for pictorial and sculptural creation, and elevate its visual qualities beyond its obvious technical functionalities.

10 Everyday Secrets That’ll Save Your Clothes

The Internet is full of life hacks for any situation. But do they all really work?

We at Creative Idea 365 found 10 of the most interesting everyday tricks and tried them on ourselves.

№ 1: A cotton pad and vinegar remove ink from your bag.

Result: It works. In addition, you can check the quality of the bag this way: if it’s authentic, the dye won’t stick to the pad.

№ 2: Get rid of small wrinkles with a flat iron.

Result: Wrinkles disappeared quite fast. The method only works with light clothes, though, (shirts or T-shirts). Heavier items won’t straighten.

№ 3: Sanitary pads help quickly dry shoes and get rid of odor.

Result: If you don’t have a dryer at hand, this is a great way to remove excess moisture from your footwear — it will be dry in 2 hours.

№ 4: If you apply wax to your sneakers and blow them with a hair dryer, they’ll become waterproof.

Result: 100% works. The wax coating is invisible and efficiently protects from water. The trick may be useful on a hiking trip or in rainy weather.

№ 5: You can remove scratches from your shoes with petroleum jelly.

Result: Small scratches became less visible, but the more significant ones are still quite prominent.

№ 6: Fluff on clothes is easily removed with a razor.

Result: It works, and fluff is gone. Don’t abuse this trick, though, or you’ll end up tearing your clothes.

№ 7: Toothpaste works well to get rid of sweat stains.

Result: This does work, but try the trick on light clothes. And to block armpit stains in future, you can use a thin pantyliner.

№ 8: Put a rolled-up magazine into your high boots to keep their shape.

Result: All good. A fitness mat instead of a magazine will also do to keep the boots’ shape until next season.

№ 9: Hand antiseptic helps remove ink blots on your clothes.

Result: Works great! It can remove not only pen ink but even permanent marker stains.

№ 10: If a button has become loose, apply some nail polish to it.

Result: Worked fine both for small buttons on shirts and for bigger ones on a coat and a winter jacket.

16 Genius New Ways to Use Ordinary Things

We’re surrounded by things we can utilize in many more ways than we’re used to.

Creative Idea 365 found some very unexpected uses for everyday things — just look how they simplify life!

A shower cap will protect a bicycle seat from rain

A common situation: you left your bike outside and went on your business, then all of a sudden the rain started, and the seat got all wet. To avoid this, take a shower cap with you on a bike ride, and cover the seat with it. And here are a couple of other tricks.

Preserve a watermelon

We rarely eat a whole watermelon at once, so it goes into the fridge. And there seems to be nothing more convenient than a shower cap to cover and preserve it. Find other uses for it here.

Keep the hallway clean

Put shower caps on the wheels of a kid’s bike or stroller before entering the house, and there’ll be much less mess inside.

Pack your shoes

Your shoes won’t dirty other items in your bag or wardrobe if you put them into a shower cap, which is more convenient than ordinary bags. Find even more useful advice here.

Micellar water can rejuvenate old canvas shoes

The dark and grimy soles of your canvas shoes, as well as the shoes themselves, are easily cleaned with micellar water. And here are other shoe care tips.

Help remove cosmetic stains

Before washing things stained with lipstick, mascara, or concealer, dab the stain with a cotton pad dipped in micellar water — the stain will more likely go away after washing.

A dish sponge can become an ice pack

This is a great way to go on a picnic. Put several wet sponges into separate bags, and seal them the night before the trip. Place the bags into the freezer overnight. In the morning, put the sponges in the cooler bag with the food you’d like to stay cool. We found this trick here.

Make pedicures easier

Your toes may touch each other and smudge the polish as it dries, and that’s irritating. To avoid this, cut a sponge into pieces, and place them between your toes. See other sponge tricks here.

Keep your veggies fresh for longer

The fruit and vegetable container in your fridge constantly accumulates excess moisture, making its contents spoil faster. Avoid this by putting a new dish sponge inside — it’ll absorb the moisture. Just don’t forget to squeeze and change it.

Make a super thrifty soap dish

Make a soap dish out of a sponge by carving a hollow in it, or just put the soap on a sponge. This way, it’ll be used up much slower. For details, see here.

Elastic bands will help open a tight cap

Wrap an elastic band around the cap and easily open a nail polish bottle or any other vessel.

Keep a book safe in your bag

Paperback books tend to get shabby at the corners when we carry them around in our bag. To save them from such a fate, use an elastic band as shown above. We found the idea here.

Make a sat nav out of a phone

If there’s no GPS in your car but there’s one in your smartphone, you know what to do. Here are the details.

Fit into your jeans

This trick will come in handy both for pregnant women and those who grew out of their jeans. Hook an elastic band around the button, and feed the other end through the buttonhole. Here are the detailed instructions.

Fabric softener will help unstick old wallpaper

To tear off old wallpaper more easily, dilute a cap of softener in 1 L of water and apply the mix to the walls with a sponge or mop. Let it sit for 20 minutes, and then just unstick the paper.

Remove fur from carpets

Sprinkle the carpet with a 1:1 water and softener solution, and easily remove pet fur from it.

Eerie, Fantastical Photos of Wildlife and People

Calgary photographer Philip Kanwischer’s wild subjects never stick around for long. The deer, the moose, the owls, the bears, and all the inhabitants of a feral landscape are ephemeral; they appear one moment and vanish the next. Only in photographs can he stay close to them.

Inhospitably Ours is both a tribute to these creatures and a confrontation with the ways in which mankind has failed them. Kanwischer sketches each of the impossible photographs first; after coming through his archive to find the right animals, he builds the photomontage with elements from other places. The process can sometimes take weeks.

“The majority of my images are composites,” the artist says, “But my goal is for them to be viewed as they are.” In other words, we’re meant not to know where the reality ends and the fiction begins.

Kanwischer himself is part of some of the pictures, as is his partner Chloe Kinsella. This story is personal to them both. Animals, wild and domestic, are never props, only participants.

The photographer has a collection of memories he returns to time and again, and most of them don’t even involve his camera. He’s been hiking or riding in his canoe when the most magnificent figures— deer, pine martens, a mother moose with her baby— have passed near him and imprinted themselves into his mind.

Kanwischer struggles with his role as a photographer. He worries about taking advantage of creatures who are already losing their homes and lives because of human intervention.

He longs to be in the presence of the animals, to become a part of their world, but he also understands that in real life, this can never be. When they see and learn to trust people, wild animals have a higher risk of being harmed by those carrying a weapon stronger than a lens. He has to keep his distance for their protection, and he sometimes fears he’s crossing over invisible lines.

The photographs are as much about Kanwischer’s ambivalence as they are about the animals themselves. In the end, the imaginary world of his pictures is the only place where he can truly find harmony with the creatures he reveres; it’s the only place where they can both be free. And for now at least, that has to be enough.

You Make 6 Mistakes Every Time You Wash Your Hair

One of the things many people look forward to the most when they walk into a salon is the wash. Everything about it is relaxing: from the delicious-smelling shampoos and conditioners, to the stylist’s expert scalp massage that leaves you drooling in your seat.

Once cut and dried, you look fabulous and your hair seems to have sprung back to life. You’ve probably wondered why it couldn’t look like this every day, well it can – as long as you stop making these common mistakes in the shower!

Most people break at least one of these hair washing faux-pas every day, but after reading this article, you won’t be one of them!

1. Washing Every Day

Your hair looks it’s healthiest when the oils that start in the scalp are left to their own devices. Allowing two or three days in between washes ensures that your hair’s natural oils have enough time to strengthen every strand.

If you’re stressed about oily roots, spritz with a dry shampoo and restyle with a blow-dryer.

2. Switching Shampoos

Although it might seem more practical to buy whatever’s on sale, experts suggest that you’re actually doing your hair more harm than good by switching shampoos so often.

Contrary to what some people believe, your hair won’t build up a tolerance to the shampoo that works. One caveat: if you have extremely oily hair, or use a lot of styling products, use a clarifying shampoo every couple of weeks to rinse away any residue.

Moral of the story: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

3. Using Too Much

Like they say, a little dab’ll do ya. Instead of slathering on the shampoo all the way to the roots, concentrate on sudsing up at your scalp. Then, apply the conditioner about midway down to the ends of your hair.

The ends need more moisture to protect against splitting, while your roots need a little less to prevent excessive oil-buildup.

We all love a good, hot shower, but let’s face it: that steaming water does not love us. While your body will adjust to the heat after a while, if your skin turns pink, it’s too hot and you’re likely doing much more damage than you think..

Whether you’ve got natural or color-treated hair, these next few steps apply to everyone, so don’t be lazy, follow through right to the end for gorgeous results.

4. Skip the Conditioner

When it comes to conditioner, remember the Goldie Locks method: not too much, not too little, use it every time you wash.

Conditioner actually cuts down on friction, which causes breakage when you brush your hair. If you have especially brittle hair or color-treated hair, you won’t want to skip this step.

5. Super-Hot Showers

If you’re experiencing dandruff, or just extra flakiness in your scalp, the water temperature is probably too hot to handle.

Use warm water at the beginning of your shower and cold water at the end. The warm water will open the hair’s cuticle and activate the shampoo/conditioner. Cold water will rinse away the suds, closes the cuticle and seals in the moisturizing conditioner.

6. Over-Rinsing Colored Hair

You mean well, but over-rinsing your hair actually shortens the lifespan of your color treatment. Hair that has been dyed absorbs and releases water more easily, which means that as the water washes away, it takes some of the dye with it. Even weeks after your initial coloring.

Shorten your rinse time, but make sure you do a thorough job of it. Use lukewarm or cool water, as heat also causes color to fade faster.

This Man Was Staying In An Old Hotel, When He Found A Bizzare Note In His Dresser!

What is the most beautiful thing in traveling? The writer Lawrence Block said: “Our happiest moments as tourists always seem to come when we stumble upon one thing while in pursuit of something else.” At the same time, everyone can face discoveries and surprises. Only a very boring person will be unhappy having a chance to find something mysterious.

This story happened at the historic Strater Hotel in Durango, Colorado. One man uncovered a secret that was left by another traveler. It all started with an old dresser.

At first glance, it looked like a standard dresser. But looking closer the guest discovered a bizarre drawer.

When he pulled the box open, he found a strange botton.

The man was too curious to leave it, so he pressed it.

He spotted a note with a few coins.

The note was filled with the names who had figured out this secret earlier. It also said that anybody who found it became part of the game!

Now he has something to tell his friends!

5 Surprising Facts About Women on Maternity Leave

A child in a family changes everything! Staying home to look after children is no less of a job than going out to work in an office, and sometimes it’s even harder.

For all future and actual parents, we at Creative Idea 365 decided to show how a woman on maternity leave feels and how she spends her days.

Daily routine

The daily routine can be shortly described as maternity leave. Feed, wash, change a diaper, give a back rub, coo, feed, change a diaper, wash clothes (yep, babies drool and spit up a lot!), play with rattle, wash again, feed, walk… In such circumstances, going to the doctor for a routine checkup is already something out of the ordinary.

No schedule

It would seem nothing can be more convenient for a mother and baby than to observe a schedule. And pediatricians say the same. Yet harsh reality makes its own adjustments to all these plans. It’s time to sleep? The baby cries and refuses to go to bed. Refuses food. Doesn’t want to lie in a stroller during a walk and screams. Mom can only accept and adapt to the changeable mood of her boss baby.

Lack of result from an activity

What can be more pleasant than the feeling when you’ve been doing something hard and then achieved the desired goal? Alas, a woman on maternity leave can only dream of achievements. No matter how hard she works for the benefit of the family, the result is never visible. She has hardly put things in order when toys are thrown around the room again. Washed all the dirty clothes in the morning? There are plenty of stained things by evening.

Lack of self-confidence

Maternity affects a career, social circle, and body. Often this is temporary, but a woman on maternity leave doesn’t know this for sure. Will she be able to return to work? When? Will she manage to get into great shape again? Will she be interesting to her unmarried friends, knowing more about colic and breastfeeding than movies and fashion? Such thoughts are always on her mind and don’t add to her self-confidence.

Unconditional love

Fatigue, a boring routine, and self-doubt somehow disappear when the baby smiles for the first time and says “Mom“ or ”love you.” Damn all the difficulties! It’s time to have…another maternity leave!

How to Eat Right for Your Body Shape

How to Eat Right for Your Body Shape

All body types are unique and beautiful, but have you ever wondered why people store fat in certain areas of their body? Some women have a tendency to gain weight around their midsection, others around their hips and thighs. We all have our “problem areas” and weight-loss issues that are based on our body type. Today Creative Idea 365 tells you which foods work best for you so you can lose weight and stay healthy.

This body shape is characterized by having narrow hips and an undefined waist.

Although you are less likely to gain weight, you should incorporate foods with healthy fats (avocado, almonds, salmon, etc.) and plant-based proteins into your diet.

Remember that no matter how thin you are, it’s still important to follow a healthy diet. So make sure you don’t eat too many sweets and fast food.

If this is your body type, you tend to gain weight in your midsection. Therefore, the perfect diet for you is eating little and often. That is, eat six times a day, but reduce your portions.

Consume foods rich in fiber, fruits, vegetables, vitamin C, and low-fat dairy. If you eat yogurts, make sure they are those that help regulate your digestion.

You should avoid foods that generate gas and swelling, such as fast food, bread, and certain vegetables.

A pear-shaped body is characterized by a much larger hip measurement than bust measurement. People with this body shape tend to gain weight around their hips and thighs and may experience water retention.

Consume meat, fish, eggs, dairy products, and foods with high protein content.

Fruits like watermelon or pineapple are great for you as they cleanse your body by removing toxins that are slowing down your metabolism. Combine them with good herbal teas like green tea.

Avoid high-sodium foods. In other words, reduce your salt intake and also avoid refined foods such as bread, noodles, and rice. You can replace them with whole foods.

While this is the most desired body shape, hourglass-figured women tend to gain weight evenly throughout their body and lack muscle tone.

You run more risk of having high levels of blood sugar, so it’s recommended to choose foods with a low glycemic index and eat five to six small meals a day. Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, and сonsume healthy fats from lean proteins.

Avoid refined foods (white bread, noodles, and rice), and remember that you can replace them with whole foods.

  • Going down in an elevator with the taxi to the airport already waiting outside, I suddenly realize I forgot to put insoles into my boots. I go back up to the 20th floor, too slowly, thinking I’d rush to my apartment for the insoles and back before the elevator’s gone. Then I see a girl on my floor. I ask her to wait for me for just a couple of seconds. She gives me a coquettish smile and nods. I run for the insoles and hear the elevator doors closing. Thinking why she would be so mean, I come back, and there she is waiting for me without the elevator. ©innerpsy
  • There she goes along the street — pretty, stylish. And I just went numb with fear, but I had to talk to her. I approach her, grinning like an idiot, and mumble, “Excuse me. What’s the time, please?“
She produces her phone and tells me. I needed all this only to start a conversation, and the main question was ahead. Finally, I found my guts and asked, ”Do you believe in God?” ©Zenn
  • I was going home by bus and listening to the radio. They read the horoscope, and when I realized I wouldn’t hear about my sign, I decided to go an extra stop. When I got off the bus, a guy came down with me and asked, “Excuse me, are you also an Aquarius living at the previous stop?” ©Sarcasm

  • A story told by my teacher. He was going home from the university and saw a couple of girls, his then groupmates. He decided to impress them: he stealthily ran into a house that was closed for renovation, climbed onto a ledge on the first floor, and jumped from about 5 feet onto the pavement right before the girls, but hitched on a metal rod… As a result, two fractured arms and a concussion. On the bright side, the girls took him in and called an ambulance and then visited him in the hospital. Now, he’s been married to one of them for 25 years. ©LiteratureBlog
  • I love my dad. When I was a kid, he came home drunk, produced a kitten from a pocket, and said, “Sonny, this is Bonifacius, and he’s all yours!“ My mom was angry at first but then settled. After a couple of years, he did the same thing with a dog: ”Sonny, this is Rex, and he’s all yours!” Mom was angry again and then okay again. Some years later, Dad came home with his colleague and his daughter and said, “Sonny, this is Sveta. Well, you get the idea.” We’ve been married for 3 years now. ©kanomochka

Then Andrew goes in, a former military officer. He apologizes, goes straight to the bar, produces a bill, and says, “Silver!“ Lera looks him up and down and gives him a pack of Parliament, saying, ”That’s a man: concise and to the point.“ Andrew thinks a bit, looks back at Lera, and says, “At eight!” To which she replies, without thinking, ”At nine!” To cut it short, Andrew was late but happy the next morning. ©losfromspace
  • Once I went to a museum to kill some time. It was pretty boring, and I began taking selfies. A really handsome guard approached me and said, “Excuse me, miss, but please don’t photograph the art objects.“ I apologized and explained that I was only taking a selfie, to which he replied, ”I know,” and winked at me. ©michacl
  • I was running after my bus, tripped, and fell over into a puddle. A man came along, helped me up, and asked, “You think you’ll make it faster by swimming?” That’s how we met.

  • I once flirted with a bartender, a cute blonde girl. We were talking, and she asked me if I had a girlfriend. I said, “No, but I know what she’d look like if I had one. • A guy I liked very much asked me out to a restaurant. I was a student then with no money and only naked pasta for every meal for two years. I thought I’d go and order a coffee if I had to pay for myself. When we got our menus, he said, “You hungry? Order something. It’s on me.” I leaf through the menu, smiling. And then a drop of my saliva falls on the table. ©Sarcasm

  • A friend of mine once lost a wager. He had to go to some tall building at night and shout “Greg!“ for 40 minutes. So he comes to the house at 2 a.m. and starts shouting. Loudly. In about 20 minutes, a light goes on at the third floor, a window opens, and a bowl of cold water falls down on our guy. A girl looks out the window then and says, ”I thought you’d grown thirsty, shouting and all, so here’s some water.” The guy smiled and asked for some warmer water lest he should catch a cold. In a couple of minutes, another bowl of warmer water goes down. To cut it short, they started talking eventually. It’s been 5 years now, they’re expecting a second kid, and every year on the day of their meeting they go to a waterpark. ©pisechkin
  • When I studied in college, I worked as a bartender. Once I saw a guy approaching a girl and saying, “Hi, I’m Ben, and I’ll buy you cocktails until I’m handsome in your eyes.“ She smiled, then laughed. He asked her what she would like to drink. She looked at him (and he was really handsome), turned to me, and said, ”Water, please.” I’m sure they spent a great night. ©oligarcheskort

  • As a student, I worked at a local mall where I knew a beautiful and single shop assistant. My advances were very weird. I would change the position of every mannequin in her store each night: a hand here, a head there, make them look at each other, etc. I’d wait for her to understand it was me trying to get her attention. Then, one day I didn’t see her at work. Rumor had it she’d quit the job and told her boss the mannequins were alive. The boss got angry and made her go. If you read this, I’m sorry. 7 Obvious Signs He’s Not Interested In You

It is not really hard to understand, when the guy of your dreams is crazy about you. You don’t need to figure it out because his words, emotions, moves and acts speak for themselves. There are just sparks you can’t explain but surely know: the mutual attraction and chemistry is growing stronger.

But what if those sparks aren’t obvious enough? Sometimes the guy you like can be shy, play with you, look at you as a friend (or a bro?), annoy you or act strange ways making you question if he really likes you as a girl. And most of the time, we, girls are not confident enough to ask a guy directly or ask him out and make sure he’s ready for a new start with us (rejection is painful).

Do you really want to waste your precious time on a man who doesn’t actually like you that much? There are certain ways to make sure you are not desired. Sometimes these signs are not that obvious unless you know how to define them. So let’s learn them now to not to regret later!

1. He is not around. If the guy does like you – he shouldn’t necessarily act nice towards you. He may fool around, be weird, tease you or even ignore you as well, but as long as he is around, he does care. The man who likes you will always find a way to be next to you. Otherwise, he is not interested.

2. He doesn’t want to know anything about your life. When you like someone, you are just dying to know all the stuff about them, isn’t that right? You can listen to your partner with all the pleasure all day long. Pay attention to his questions about you, does he really want to find out about your lifestyle, hobbies, family and job or nah?

3. Flirting. Ok he flirts with you… and with all the other girls as well. Yes, there are guys out there who like to just flirt and make girls expect something but nothing usually happens. Here you should pay attention on how the guy you’re interested in interacts with other girls.

4. Does his tone sound the same when he talks with friends vs. with you? This sign is not so obvious, but still you can pay extra attention on how he speaks with friends and if he changes his voice when speaking with you. If everything stays the same – you are probably just a friend.

5. Body language means a lot. The negative body language includes maintaining imposing distance between you, folding arms tightly, avoiding eye contact, looking somewhere around but not on you when having a conversation and not focusing on it at all.

6. He doesn’t talk about himself. The guys don’t reveal things about their lives for reasons. If he is interested in developing relationship with you, not a serial killer or anything similar, he would surely like to tell you something positive about himself. If the guy is not interested – he won’t invite you to his life or will just share the bare minimum info to maintain the conversation.

7. He hesitates to see you. Despite the fact he says he wants to see you, you wait too long for him to set up that next date. Is it really worth it? Okay, even if he keeps asking you out (or means to), but doesn’t actually hurry to see you, you’re probably a fallback but not a relationship material. After discovering it, do not hesitate to leave the circle before it’s too late!
